STILL MORE TO COME……..
WOW – that is seriously a lot of cook books!! We have some of the same tastes it seems – Nigella, Jamie, Rachel. I also have several others you mention on my Amazon wishlist … if only I had more time and more money 🙂
Hi Helen. I know the feeling – there is always another one to add to the list! This list is about a third of my collection – haven’t had the time to update further. 🙂
Would love to see what else you’ve got in your collection! I have many of the ones you’ve listed here, however, it’s also prompted me to want to add more to my wish list. Especially Rachel Allen – her books look great.
I must get round to posting the rest of them. I have an ever growing Amazon shopping list at the moment – is taking great self control not to just order them!! But it becomes an expensive addiction!
Rachel Allen has a new book coming out shortly – Home Cooking – really looking forward to it!
AWESOME_ you should get some Stephanie Alexander ones if you get the chance, today I oggled the new one which is about creating a kitchen garden then cooking from it – and since I am a sucker for graphic design etc, it comes in a loose fabric stitched dustjacket…. want it want it want it!
Hi Brodie, I stumbled across your website in my quest for the perfect banana loaf recipe! You have a great cook book selection 🙂 Not sure if you have seen the new Sophie Dahl (yes, she IS a famous model in the UK) book entitled Miss Dahls’ Voluptuous Delights, great writing and fab recipes (Roald is her grandfather, by the way, so the writing comes naturally!). Its been out here in the UK a few months now, hope it reaches kiwi shores soon. Keep up the blog!
Hi there. Thanks for the recommendation! I actually live in London too so will have to add to my Amazon wish list! I don’t have a banana loaf recipe but try out the courgette loaf – it is delicious!! Cheers 🙂
Hello again, I got mine at my local Waitrose so if there’s one in your neighbourhood, you could always check out the book before you order online 🙂
